Why will you be voting Yes?
We're inviting you to share your reasons with the rest of Scotland in our new Why I'm voting Yes section.
The Yes campaign is backed by people from all walks of life who put different emphases on the benefits that will come from living in an independent Scotland. We each have our own unique Yes.
We’re all agreed that decisions about Scotland’s future will be best made by the people who live here, and for some people the principal advantage will be the chance to live in a greener Scotland free from nuclear weapons. For others it will be the opportunity to make the most of our own resources and share those in ways that will be of most benefit to all the people of Scotland.
Other Yes supporters look forward to an independent Scotland being a place where they can enjoy equal rights, or see artistic, and entrepreneurial endeavours flourish in the confident, positive environment that will arise from being independent and responsible for our own goals and successes.
Yesscotland.net already features blogs and video posts from supporters sharing their reasons for saying Yes. This is the biggest community campaign Scotland has ever seen and by including your words and ideas in the “Why I’m Voting Yes” section we can all play a part in spreading the message that Scotland’s future should be in Scotland’s hands.
