Yes Scotland Chief Executive, Blair Jenkins, has given an interview to the newly formed Labour for Independence website. In the interview, Mr Jenkins made clear his belief that "lots of Labour voters in Scotland support the idea of an independent Scotland, as do many members and supporters of all the other parties."
He added, "this is an issue that transcends party politics. We know that a great many Labour voters are attracted by the prospect of helping to build a fairer society that is more likely to chime with their values and beliefs.
"Another point in favour of independence that often comes up in discussion with Labour supporters is the prospect of having the best of the talent in the Labour Party serving in the Scottish Parliament rather than at Westminster."
"This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to create a better society, a better Scotland. Please get involved in whatever way you can. And remember – if each one of us already intending to vote Yes can persuade just one other person in the next two years, then Scotland wins."
