Why will you be voting Yes?

The referendum in 2014 will give everyone an opportunity to choose what Scotland's future will be.

There are many reasons why people will be voting Yes. Some people have already contributed their thoughts on the environment, nuclear weapons, equal rights and the economy to the Yes Scotland blog.

Now we would like to hear from you. What does independence mean to you? Why are you voting yes?

We've had a wide range of responses already - you can read a selection of them here.

After you've told us your story why don't you also put your response up on your Facebook page and share your thoughts with friends and family.  Let's get some conversations started about why we are voting yes.

In 100 words, tell us your story and why you'll be voting Yes
